GLASGOW 2021

Annual Scientific Meeting

3rd & 4th June

Urgent Meeting Update

In light of the difficult and unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACTACC committee and local organisers have decided to further postpone their event to June 2021.

The ACTACC committee feels that the current situation remains too precarious. There is the potential for a second spike and even without it there are no guarantees on travel restrictions, availability of study leave, social distancing and revised capacity for the venues.

We are postponing the event until Thursday 3rd - Friday 4th June 2021 and will remain at the same venue in Glasgow.

We do hope you will be able to attend the future event and  if you have booked already, we will automatically transfer your registration to the new date.

In this meeting, there will be a focus on the future of cardiothoracic anaesthesia and critical care within the UK.

Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, the third largest city in the UK with a metropolitan population of 2.3 million, recently voted by Time Out as the friendliest city in the world.

It is a UNESCO City of Music, a former European City of Culture with a vibrant nightlife, world-class architecture and has been described as the “best and most eclectic dining city in Europe”.
